SATURDAY SHOW EDITION

BPOD? ITOOTH? BLUEPOD?
No matter, if this is true, it's HUGE.

iPOLITICS
(via macminute)
ITunes Music Store is offering free downloads of all the political speeches from the Democratic Lovefest in Boston. One would hope they will provide equal time for the Other Guys.

STORAGE
(via Cool Hunting)
It looks like a prop from a sci-fi movie. But it could be a quantum leap in digital storage electronica. Info Mica is a clear plastic data storage solution from NTT that uses holographic technology to store lots of information in a small space with very little power requirements. Downside - at this point, it requires a special reader to get the data back off. But that should change as the technology advances.

P2P AT ELEVEN
(via PVRBlog)
When worlds collide. Advances in digital camcorders, file sharing on P2P networks, and cool applications like Visual Communicator by Serious Magic, could mean that network news has competition as anyone now can create news and broadcast it to the internet. And with more people getting their news from the Internet, this could be HUGE.
